Entry requirements

Entries may be self-nominated, (except the Individual Achievement Award) or accepted with the knowledge of the nominee, and must be based on a project or achievement which took place or was completed between 1 January 2010 and 1 June 2010. Each entry should be accompanied by the following:

  • A completed entry form – a separate form is required for each entry. The form is available at www.eiawards.com
  • A project summary up to 1,000 words.
  • If short-listed, and for the purposes of the Award Ceremony itself, an electronic version of your company logo (jpeg), as well as 10 photographs of the project will be required (either originals or jpegs). A concise sentence summarising the project (maximum 20 words), which will be read over a montage of the photographs, will also be required.

Full participation in the EI Awards Ceremony by all short-listed entrants is encouraged.

You may submit multiple projects for the Awards. Each individual project can be entered for one category only.

Project summary

This is the most important part of your entry. In a maximum of 1,000 words describe the project/achievement, highlighting why you believe it should be considered for the appropriate award. Ensure that your summary includes the following sub-headings:

  • Background – reasons behind the project concept
  • Aims - what was the project designed to achieve
  • Description and development – actions taken to carry out the project
  • Impact and benefits – goal achieved through completion of the project
  • Reasons - why the project should be considered for the appropriate Award

Please submit your summary in the format above and ensure you have shown how your entry meets the judging criteria. You might find it useful to involve colleagues from your marketing or PR department when finalising the project summary. Please attach the summary to the completed entry form, and keep a copy for your own records.

Presentation of Awards

The winners will be presented with their Awards during the EI Awards Ceremony on 18 November 2010.
